By accessing or using dBriefMe ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

dBriefMe is a personalized AI-powered news aggregation and curation service that:

  • Collects news from various public sources based on your preferences
  • Uses artificial intelligence to analyze, summarize, and prioritize news
  • Generates personalized daily news briefs
  • Allows you to save articles and track specific topics or events
  • Enables sharing of news content via links or email

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You may register using email/password or through Google OAuth.

When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access

News content aggregated and displayed through the Service belongs to its original publishers and sources. We provide summaries and links to help you discover content, but we do not claim ownership of third-party content. All trademarks and copyrights remain with their respective owners.

5.3 Your Content

Any content you submit (such as custom preferences, tracked events, or feedback) remains yours. By submitting content, you grant us a license to use it to provide and improve the Service.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of the Service may require a paid subscription. If you choose to subscribe:

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
  • Refunds are provided in accordance with our refund policy

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing cycle.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • The quality of any products, services, or information will meet your expectations
  • Any errors in the Service will be corrected

News content is aggregated from third-party sources. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any news content. You should verify important information independently.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL DBRIEFME, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless dBriefMe and its licensees and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of and access to the Service
  • Your violation of any term of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party right, including any copyright or privacy right

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so by contacting us or using the account deletion feature if available.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service and supersede any prior agreements.
